Intelius removals go through the PeopleConnect suppression portal at suppression.peopleconnect.us, not through Intelius itself. Create an account, verify your email, search for your record, and submit a suppression request. Intelius allows up to 14 days, and the same portal covers TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, US Search, and ZabaSearch.

The trap

Intelius has no working standalone opt-out page, so a lot of guides point at a URL that just redirects. The PeopleConnect portal is the only route, and it needs an account.

The method

Intelius opt-out, step by step

Medium. You have to create an account, and some brands ask for a photo ID.

  1. 01 Go to the PeopleConnect portal, not Intelius

    Intelius is a PeopleConnect brand. Removals are handled centrally at suppression.peopleconnect.us. Searching for an opt-out form on intelius.com sends most people in a circle.

  2. 02 Create an account and verify your email

    The portal requires a login. This is the one broker family where you must make an account to get your data removed, which is an irony worth naming.

  3. 03 Search for your record

    Search your name and select every record that is yours. Confirm the address and age match before you claim a record.

  4. 04 Submit the suppression request

    Submit. Some PeopleConnect brands ask for a photo of a government ID at this point. If you send one, cover the photo and document number: they need the name and address, not the rest.

  5. 05 Cover the whole family in one pass

    While you are in the portal, suppress your record on TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate, US Search, and ZabaSearch too. They share the data. Allow up to 14 days for all of them.
