A worked example
The arithmetic, for one person
Take a 45-broker first pass at twelve minutes each. That is nine hours. Listings return, so call it two passes a year: eighteen hours. At $75 an hour, doing it yourself costs about $1,350 of your time a year, and you have to remember to do it.
The Personal plan is $108 a year. The comparison is not $108 against zero. It is $108 against eighteen hours you will not spend and a monthly re-check you will not remember to run.

How do I get started?

Is there a free plan or a free trial?
No, and there will not be. Filing and re-filing opt-outs costs money per person every month, so a free tier would have to cut the monitoring, which is the part that works. The exposure scan is free and always will be, and the opt-out list shows you how to do the entire job by hand for nothing.
Whether paying for any of this beats doing it yourself depends on your time and your footprint, and we argue it both ways in are data removal services worth it.
Why is Dataremoval more expensive than Incogni?
Because we are building a different thing. Incogni is priced for volume automation at roughly $8 a month. Our plan puts a human on the brokers that reject automation, re-scans monthly, and keeps a dated evidence log. If price is your main constraint, Incogni is a real service and works today.

What does the Family plan cover that Personal does not?
Up to four people in one household, each scanned and filed for individually. This matters more than it sounds: relatives are a published field on most people-search listings, and your household address appears on every family member's record. Removing one person leaves the address and the family graph intact.
What is actually in the Executive tier?
Priority on every removal, custom removals for sites outside the standard directory, dark-web exposure alerts, and a quarterly written review. It is aimed at people for whom a published home address is a physical risk rather than an annoyance: doctors, judges, executives, public servants.
