We are not the cheapest line in that table, and we do not pretend to be. A worked example
The arithmetic, for one person
Take a 45-broker first pass at twelve minutes each. That is nine hours. Listings return, so call it two passes a year: eighteen hours. At $75 an hour, doing it yourself costs about $1,350 of your time a year, and you have to remember to do it.
The Personal plan is $288 a year. The comparison is not $288 against zero. It is $288 against eighteen hours you will not spend and a monthly re-check you will not remember to run.

How much do I save by paying yearly?
Half. Every plan billed yearly costs exactly 50 percent of the monthly price: Personal is $49 a month or $24 a month billed yearly ($288 a year), Family $99 or $49 ($588 a year), Executive $199 or $99 ($1,188 a year), and Business $20 or $10 per employee ($120 per employee a year). The page shows yearly prices by default; switch to Monthly to see the month-to-month price.
How much does a data removal service cost?
Most data removal services cost $20 to $250 a year for one person in the US. EasyOptOuts is $19.99, Optery Core $39, Incogni Standard $95.88, OneRep Individual $99.96 and DeleteMe $129. Bundled products such as Norton Privacy Monitor Assistant ($109.99) and Cloaked ($119.99) sit in the same range. Family plans run about $180 to $360 a year.
Is there a free plan or a free trial?
No, and there will not be. Filing and re-filing opt-outs costs money per person every month, so a free tier would have to cut the monitoring, which is the part that works. The exposure scan is free and always will be, and the opt-out list shows you how to do the entire job by hand for nothing.
Whether paying for any of this beats doing it yourself depends on your time and your footprint, and we argue it both ways in are data removal services worth it.
Why is DataRemoval more expensive than Incogni?
Because it does a different job. Incogni is priced for volume automation at roughly $8 a month. Our plan puts a human on the brokers that reject automation, re-scans monthly, and keeps a dated evidence log. If price is your main constraint, Incogni is a real service and a fair pick.

Up to four people in one household, each scanned and filed for individually. This matters more than it sounds: relatives are a published field on most people-search listings, and your household address appears on every family member's record. Removing one person leaves the address and the family graph intact.
What is actually in the Executive tier?
Priority on every removal, custom removals for sites outside the standard directory, and a quarterly written review. It is aimed at people for whom a published home address is a physical risk rather than an annoyance: doctors, judges, executives, public servants.
How do you price the Business plan?
