Acxiom Opt Out: Remove Your Data From Acxiom
The short answer
To opt out of Acxiom, go to isapps.acxiom.com/optout/optout.aspx, choose which Acxiom products to be removed from, and submit your name, current address, and email. Acxiom takes about four to six weeks to process, because the change has to propagate to the customers it already sold your data to.
This guide is free and complete, and it is honest about the limit: Acxiom is not a site you can be deleted from, so what follows restricts who your file is shared with rather than erasing it. You need pay nobody to do it, including us. If you would rather not work through 44 more companies yourself, that is what Dataremoval is for.
Steps checked against Acxiom's own opt-out flow. We take no commission from Acxiom or from any service named on this page.

No broker listing ranked today. That is not the same as being private: search engines demote people-search pages, and the brokers still publish to anyone who searches them directly.
Reconstructed best-effort from live public search listings.
The live top results for your name, reconstructed from public search. The "data broker" badge is matched against our own directory of 45 brokers.
These brokers index US adults and each opt-out link is real and free. We have not checked each one for your name, and we will not pretend otherwise. That is what the full service does.

The live search did not come back this time, so we will not guess. Here is your removal plan instead, from our directory of 45 real data brokers.

You have used your scans for now. The demo runs on a shared key, so we cap it. The real service re-scans for you every month without a cap.

What is exposed
What Acxiom holds about you
Marketing profile: name, postal address, inferred income band, household composition, purchase categories, and life-event signals.
None of it sits on a public profile page, which is what makes this kind of company easy to miss and hard to check. The steps below restrict who Acxiom may hand the file to rather than deleting it, and the file keeps growing underneath that restriction every time a new record matches your name.
Aggregators like this one are the reason people-search listings come back after you remove them, so it is worth understanding which data types are removable and reading the full guide to removing your information from the internet before you judge progress by what you can see.
The trap
Nobody sees an Acxiom opt-out work, so almost nobody does it. It matters precisely because it is upstream: the people-search sites you just cleaned up refill from aggregators like this one.
The method
Acxiom opt-out, step by step
Medium, and the slowest to take effect. It is also the one with the longest tail of benefit.
-
01 Understand what you are opting out of
Acxiom is not a people-search site. It is a marketing data aggregator: it assembles a profile of your household (address, inferred income band, life events, purchase categories) and licenses it. It is upstream of things that look you up.
-
02 Open the Acxiom opt-out form
Go to isapps.acxiom.com/optout/optout.aspx. The form is plain and slow to load, and it is the real one.
-
03 Choose every category
Acxiom lets you opt out of marketing data, directory products, and its people-search feeds separately. Select all of them. Opting out of one leaves the others running.
-
04 Give a current address
The form asks for your name and current postal address. Acxiom matches on address, so an old address will not find your record. This is the moment people give up, because handing over an address to a data broker feels wrong. It is the only key it indexes on.
-
05 Wait, and expect it to be slow
Acxiom cites four to six weeks. Nothing visible changes on any website when it completes, because Acxiom does not publish a page about you. What changes is the supply of fresh data to companies that do.
Steps written against Acxiom's live flow in July 2026. Brokers move their forms without notice. If a step has moved, start from their opt-out page and the shape of the process will be the same. Tell us if it has changed: app@dataremoval.ai.
And then the other 44
Acxiom is one of them
The same address you just restricted at Acxiom is still published by the other brokers in our directory, and by the marketing aggregators that supply all of them. Restricting one is a good afternoon. Working through all of them, and keeping them restricted as new records refill, is a different kind of job.
Dataremoval files every opt-out for you and re-scans monthly. If you are shopping around first, we compare the field in the best data removal services and put the real numbers side by side in how much data removal costs.
