Terms of Service
Last updated . These are early-access terms. They cover a marketing website, a free demo, and an email list. They do not cover a paid data removal service, because we do not sell one yet.
The short version
- Nothing on this site is for sale. Joining the list commits you to nothing.
- The scan is a best-effort search of the public web, not a guarantee about any listing.
- Use the scan on yourself only, or with the person's consent.
Accepting these terms
By using dataremoval.ai you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site. It is operated by Dataremoval.pl" rel="noopener">Dataremoval.pl), and you can reach us at team@dataremoval.ai.
What Dataremoval currently is
Today, Dataremoval is a website describing a product under development, a free exposure scan, and an early-access email list. There is no paid plan, no billing, no account, and no dashboard. The prices shown on the pricing page are the plans we intend to launch with. They are a statement of intent, not an offer, and they may change before launch.
The exposure scan
The scan performs a live search of the public web for people-search listings matching the name and state you enter. Its results are a best-effort reconstruction from public search listings. They are not a read of any broker's database, and we make no warranty that a listing it reports exists, or that a listing it fails to report does not.
You agree that you will:
- use the scan on yourself, or on a person who has consented to it;
- be 18 or older;
- not use it to locate, monitor, harass, or investigate any other person;
- not attempt to circumvent its rate limits, or use it through automated means.
We may rate-limit, degrade, or withdraw the scan at any time. It runs on a shared third-party API and it is free, which is roughly all the guarantee anyone should read into it.
The early-access list
Joining the list means we will email you when your spot opens. It creates no contract, no obligation to buy anything, and no obligation on us to give you access by any particular date, or at all. We may never launch. You may leave the list at any time using the link in any email we send, or by writing to us.
You will not be charged. We will not ask you for a payment method. We will not pass your address to anyone. The privacy policy is the binding statement of what we do with it.
Our guides and the opt-out instructions
The opt-out guides on this site describe each broker's process as we observed it. Brokers change their forms, their URLs, and their requirements without notice. The steps may be out of date by the time you read them, and following them is your own decision. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any data broker named on this site. Their names and marks belong to them and are used here for identification only.
Nothing on this site is legal advice. Statements about state and federal privacy law are descriptions of publicly available statutes, offered for orientation. If you need to enforce a right, talk to a lawyer.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or reverse engineer this site or the systems behind it. Do not scrape it. Do not submit other people's email addresses to the early-access list. If you find a security problem, please tell us at team@dataremoval.ai before you tell anyone else, and we will credit you if you would like us to.
No warranty, and limits on liability
This site and the scan are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be available, that the scan will produce accurate or complete results, or that any opt-out described here will succeed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dataremoval will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Because we charge you nothing, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to zero. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We will update these terms when the product launches, and the launch version will govern any paid service. Everyone on the early-access list will be emailed before that happens.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, where Dataremoval is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.
