Searching the public web

This runs a real search, so it can take up to about 45 seconds. Nothing is stored.

What is exposed

What FastPeopleSearch publishes about you

Name, age, current and past addresses, phone numbers, emails, and relatives.

Every one of those fields is removable through the steps below, and every one can reappear later when FastPeopleSearch ingests a new public record that matches your name.

Because the same address is usually published with a phone number, plenty of people follow this with removing their phone number from the internet. If the listing is also surfacing in search results, the Google personal information removal request is the separate step that clears the cached page.

The trap

The confirmation email is the request. People fill in the form, see nothing arrive, assume it worked, and never click the link that actually files it. The second trap is volume: FastPeopleSearch is free to read, so one person often has three or four listings, and removing the one you happened to find leaves the rest published.

The method

FastPeopleSearch opt-out, step by step

Easy, and one of the fastest removals in the category. The only real work is finding every listing, because FastPeopleSearch commonly holds more than one record per person.

  1. 01 Find every listing that is you

Search your name on fastpeoplesearch.com and add your city or state. FastPeopleSearch publishes your address and phone number without asking you to log in, which is exactly why it ranks so well for people searching your name. Open each result that is genuinely you with View Free Details, and keep the tabs open. Old addresses and a middle initial often produce a second and third record.

  2. 02 Copy the listing URL

On each listing page, copy the full URL out of the address bar. The removal form works on one URL at a time and will not accept a name, so a record you never opened is a record that stays up.

  3. 03 Open the removal form

Go to fastpeoplesearch.com/removal. You can also reach it from the Do Not Sell My Personal Information link in the site footer, then How to opt out. Paste the listing URL and give an email address you can actually open in the next few minutes.

  4. 04 Click the link in the email, quickly

FastPeopleSearch emails you a confirmation that carries the second half of the form, usually within a couple of minutes. Click the button that says Click here to remove your name. The link is time-limited, so do it the same day. Nothing at all happens to your listing until you click it, and this is the step people skip.

  5. 05 Repeat, then re-check in a month

Do the same for every listing URL you found. The record usually disappears within an hour and FastPeopleSearch cites up to 72 hours. Then set a reminder to search yourself again in about 30 days: the site rebuilds from public records and commercial feeds, so a fresh listing can appear under a new address.

Steps written against FastPeopleSearch's live flow in July 2026. Brokers move their forms without notice. If a step has moved, start from their opt-out page and the shape of the process will be the same. Tell us if it has changed: app@dataremoval.ai.

And then the other 44

FastPeopleSearch is one of them

The same address you just removed from FastPeopleSearch is still published by the other brokers in our directory, and by the marketing aggregators that supply all of them. Removing one is a good afternoon. Removing all of them, and keeping them removed as they refill, is a different kind of job.

Dataremoval files every opt-out for you and re-scans monthly. If you are shopping around first, we compare the field in the best data removal services and put the real numbers side by side in how much data removal costs.

Questions

FastPeopleSearch opt-out questions, answered

What is the FastPeopleSearch removal page?

It is fastpeoplesearch.com/removal. The form takes the URL of a single listing plus an email address, and it will not accept a name on its own. Open your own listing with View Free Details first and copy the address bar, or the request has nothing to act on.

How long does FastPeopleSearch take to remove your information?

Within 72 hours of clicking the removal link FastPeopleSearch emails you. The listing usually disappears sooner. If three days pass with the listing still live, the request almost certainly was never confirmed, because the emailed link is what files it.

Why does FastPeopleSearch still show my address after removal?

Two likely reasons. Either it is a different listing, since FastPeopleSearch commonly holds three or four records per person under old addresses, each needing its own request. Or the listing is gone but Google is still serving a cached copy, which clears on its own within a few weeks or faster if you file it through Google's outdated content tool.

Is FastPeopleSearch the same company as TruePeopleSearch?

They are separate sites with near-identical layouts and heavily overlapping data, both built on the same public-record and commercial feeds. Opting out of one does nothing to the other. If you are removing yourself from FastPeopleSearch, file the TruePeopleSearch opt-out in the same sitting.

Does FastPeopleSearch charge to remove your listing?

No. The removal is free, needs no account, and takes no payment details. FastPeopleSearch is free to read as well, which is exactly why its listings rank so readily for a person's name.
