Incogni Alternative: How Dataremoval Compares
The short answer
Incogni is a data removal service from Surfshark that automates opt-out requests at a low price, listed at $7.99 per month billed annually ($95.88 per year) at the time of writing, with unlimited custom removal requests reserved for its higher tier. Dataremoval is an early-access alternative focused on a transparent per-broker removal log and continuous re-scanning. Dataremoval is not open to paying customers yet.

Incogni is a real service with real customers. Dataremoval has none, because it has not launched. This page compares a working product against a plan, and we have tried to make that obvious in every row rather than bury it.
Their offer
What Incogni does
- Incogni is made by Surfshark, an established privacy company, and is among the cheapest options in the category.
- Its Standard plan is published at $7.99 per month billed annually ($95.88 per year), and the Unlimited tier at $14.99 per month billed annually ($179.88 per year). A five-person family plan starts at $15.99 per month billed annually.
- It automates opt-out requests to data brokers, including marketing aggregators, and it invokes GDPR and CCPA rights on your behalf.
- The dashboard shows request status per broker.
- Custom removal requests, for sites outside its standard roster, sit on the higher Unlimited tier.

The trade-off they made
The low price comes from full automation and a fixed broker roster. Requests that a broker rejects, or sites outside the roster, are where an automated-only pipeline runs out of road unless you are on the higher tier. That is a coherent trade for the price.
Our plan
What Dataremoval intends to do
- A removal log that shows the evidence per broker, not only a request status.
- Continuous monthly re-scanning, with the reappearance of a listing treated as a new job rather than a closed ticket.
- Escalation to a human for brokers that reject the automated request, rather than leaving it queued.
- Tiers aimed at people with elevated exposure: executives, doctors, lawyers, and company security teams.

Which should you pick?
Incogni is cheap, real, and working today, and for many people that is the right answer. Dataremoval is not launched. We are pricing above Incogni because we are building for people whose exposure carries a physical or professional risk, not for the lowest possible monthly cost.
