DeleteMe Alternative: How Dataremoval Compares
The short answer
DeleteMe is an established, human-assisted data removal service that publishes a removal report each quarter, with its Individual plan listed at $129 per year at the time of writing. Dataremoval is an early-access alternative built around continuous AI re-scanning and a per-broker removal log you can check any day, rather than a quarterly report. Dataremoval is not open to paying customers yet.

DeleteMe is a real service with real customers. Dataremoval has none, because it has not launched. This page compares a working product against a plan, and we have tried to make that obvious in every row rather than bury it.
Their offer
What DeleteMe does
- DeleteMe has been running since 2011 and is one of the most established services in the category.
- Its Individual plan is published at $129 per year ($10.75 per month, billed annually). Two people is $229 per year and a four-person family plan is $329 per year. There is no month-to-month option.
- Removals are handled on a repeating cycle, and subscribers get a removal report each quarter.
- It covers a large roster of US data brokers, and offers a business product for employee data.
- Real humans handle the awkward brokers that resist automation.

The trade-off they made
The quarterly report is the product's rhythm. If a listing reappears the week after a report lands, you learn about it in the next one. That cadence is a deliberate, defensible choice, and it is the specific thing Dataremoval is being built to do differently.
Our plan
What Dataremoval intends to do
- Continuous re-scanning rather than a quarterly cycle, so a reappearance is caught in the month it happens.
- A per-broker removal log: for each broker, the request date, the current state, and the evidence, viewable any day rather than quarterly.
- AI agents file the opt-outs, with the awkward brokers escalated to a person.
- An Executive tier for people at elevated risk of doxxing, and a Business tier for protecting staff.
Planned scope at launch. None of it is shipping today.
Which should you pick?
DeleteMe has removed data for real customers for over a decade. Dataremoval has not launched. If you need removals handled today, DeleteMe is a real, working service and you should use it. If the quarterly cadence is the thing that bothers you, that is the gap we are building into.
