The short answer
Allstate Identity Protection sells three monitoring plans to the public: Essentials at $99.99 a year, Premier at $197.89 and Blue at $190.00 for one adult, each with a 30-day free trial. All three include restoration and $1 million in expense reimbursement. None of them removes you from data brokers; that tool sits in Pro+ Cyber, which Allstate sells only through employers.

Allstate Identity Protection plans and prices
Allstate sells four plans on its consumer page, each in an individual and a family version. The family version covers you plus up to 10 members. Annual billing saves about 17 percent on Essentials and Blue, but only about 8 percent on Premier, which is why the middle plan ends up costing more per year than the top one.

One adult. Annual: Monthly only
Family $6.00 a month, annual Monthly only

One adult. Annual: $190.00
Family $36.00 a month, annual $360.00
Adds 3-bureau credit, $1 million stolen funds, VPN, antivirus, password manager.
The pricing quirk
Annual Premier costs $7.89 more than annual Blue
Monthly, Premier is the cheaper of the two ($17.99 against $19.00). On the annual toggle, Premier is $197.89 and Blue is $190.00, and Blue includes everything in Premier plus three-bureau credit and the cyber suite. For families the gap is $24.89 ($384.89 against $360.00). If you are paying yearly, there is no reason to pick Premier.
The trial terms
30 days free, card required, renews automatically
Allstate takes a card at enrollment and does not charge it for 30 days. After that, Essentials renews at $9.99 a month, Premier at $17.99 and Blue at $19 unless you cancel, and you switch to annual billing yourself. We did not find a separate refund window for annual plans on Allstate's pages.
What each Allstate identity theft protection plan includes
A shortened version of Allstate's own comparison grid. Every row is marked the way Allstate marks it. The last row is the one this page exists to show.
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.
| Feature | Restoration | Essentials | Premier | Blue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Full-service identity restoration | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Identity theft expense reimbursement | $25K | $1M | $1M | $1M |
| Stolen funds reimbursement | No | No | No | $1M |
| Credit monitoring | No | 1 bureau | 1 bureau | 3 bureaus |
| Credit reports and scores | No | No | 1 bureau | 3 bureaus |
| Credit lock | No | Assistance | Assistance | In portal |
| Dark web monitoring | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Bank, card and 401(k) transaction alerts | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Social media monitoring | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Home title and tax refund fraud | No | No | No | Yes |
| VPN, antivirus, password manager | No | No | No | Yes |
| Digital Footprint (your accounts) | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Solicitation reduction | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Data broker removal | No | No | No | No |
Two rows are easy to mistake for removal. Digital Footprint lists the companies you hold accounts with and lets you send them unsubscribe or delete requests; it is about brands you signed up with, not the people-search sites that publish your address to strangers. Solicitation reduction helps you opt out of scam calls, junk mail and pre-approved credit offers, the same job as the free prescreen opt-out. Both are useful. Neither takes your listing down from a data broker.

Allstate Identity Protection review
Does Allstate Identity Protection remove your data from brokers?
Not if you buy it yourself. Allstate's article on data brokers tells readers to try "an automated data removal feature, like the one included in select Allstate Identity Protection plans", and links to its contact form rather than a plan. Its employer page is more specific: the Pro+ Cyber plan includes "a data removal tool that helps remove your personal info from the internet".
Pro+ Cyber is one of four employee-exclusive plans (Pro, Pro+, Pro+ Cyber and Smart), and Allstate says pricing and plan options vary by employer. It does not say how many brokers the tool covers or how often it rescans. On the consumer page, Essentials, Premier and Blue list 60-odd features between them and not one is broker removal.
So if your employer offers Pro+ Cyber in open enrollment, it is worth a look. If you are buying at retail, plan on handling people-search sites separately. The scan at the top of this page shows which ones publish your address and phone today.
What a year of Allstate costs against the alternatives
On price alone, Allstate is competitive. Essentials is one of the cheapest suites with credit monitoring, and Blue undercuts most three-bureau plans. The gap is removal: every rival in this table that costs between Essentials and Blue removes you from at least some brokers.

| Service | A year | Broker removal | Credit | Trial or refund |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Allstate Essentials | $99.99 | None on retail plans | 1 bureau | 30-day free trial |
| Allstate Blue | $190.00 | None on retail plans | 3 bureaus | 30-day free trial |
| LifeLock Core | $124.99 | Smaller unpublished set, every 90 days | 2 bureaus | 60-day refund, annual |
| IDX Privacy | $139.92 | Over 100 brokers, monthly rescan | None | Annual or monthly |
| Aura Individual | $144 | 425+ sites | 3 bureaus | 14-day trial |
| IDShield, 1 bureau | $179.40 | Privacy Check, count not published | 1 bureau | Monthly price only |
| Allstate Essentials + EasyOptOuts | $119.98 | 216 itemized broker domains | 1 bureau | Two bills |
LifeLock, IDX, Aura and IDShield figures are their own published rates for one adult (IDShield prints monthly prices only, so its figure is twelve payments). EasyOptOuts costs $19.99 a year and removed 65 percent of listings in the 2024 Consumer Reports test of seven removal services, on the only plan it sells. The full head-to-head with LifeLock, including family plans, is in Allstate Identity Protection vs LifeLock pricing.
Families get more headcount from Allstate than from most rivals. The family plan covers you plus up to 10 members for $189.99 a year on Essentials or $360 on Blue, where Blue family also raises some coverage to $2 million. LifeLock Core for two adults and up to ten children costs $344.99, and Aura Family covers five adults for $384 with removal from 425+ sites included.
How to buy Allstate Identity Protection without overpaying
Step 1
Check your employer first
Many employers offer Allstate in open enrollment at a group rate, and only there can you get Pro+ Cyber with data removal.
Step 2
Skip annual Premier
If you pay yearly, Blue is $7.89 cheaper than Premier for one adult and includes everything Premier does.
Step 3
Use the 30 days
Set up credit monitoring, dark web alerts and Digital Footprint during the trial, and decide before the card is charged.
Step 4
Cover people-search sites
Run the scan on this page. Whatever it finds, a removal service or your own opt-outs will have to clear.
If you want to file opt-outs yourself, our data broker opt-out list has the forms for the large sites. Most people stop after about ten, because every broker has its own verification step and many relist you within a few months. That repeat work is what a removal service is for.

One of the lowest prices for a suite with credit monitoring, restoration and $1 million in expense cover.

Up to 11 people on one plan, from $189.99 a year on Essentials.
Your employer offers Pro+ Cyber
Take it in open enrollment
It is the only Allstate plan with a data removal tool, usually at a group rate.
You want alerts and removal in one bill
Aura Individual, $144 a year

You want a person on the stubborn brokers
DataRemoval, from $9 a month billed yearly
Our own plan: a human works the brokers that reject automated requests, we rescan monthly, and you get a dated log of every request. It sits next to Allstate without overlap.
Our view, as a company that sells the removal half: Allstate Identity Protection is a solid, fairly priced monitoring and restoration service, with generous family coverage and an annual Blue plan that is better value than the Premier plan below it. It does not do the job we do unless your employer buys you Pro+ Cyber. If you are choosing a removal service to sit next to it, our ranking of the best data removal services prices the field, and the Aura data removal review covers the suite that includes removal on every adult plan.
Allstate Identity Protection reviews, common questions
How much does Allstate Identity Protection cost?
Allstate Identity Protection costs $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year for Essentials, $17.99 a month or $197.89 a year for Premier, and $19 a month or $190 a year for Blue, for one adult. Family plans cover you and up to 10 members for $189.99, $384.89 or $360 a year. A restoration-only plan costs $3 a month.
Does Allstate Identity Protection remove personal information from data brokers?
Not on the plans you can buy yourself. The Essentials, Premier and Blue feature lists include dark web monitoring, the Digital Footprint account finder and solicitation reduction, but no data broker removal. Allstate has a data removal tool, and its own employer page places it in Pro+ Cyber, a plan sold only through employers.
Is Allstate Identity Protection worth it?
It is worth it for restoration and financial alerts. Every plan gets full-service restoration from a US-based team, and Blue adds three-bureau credit monitoring and $1 million in stolen funds cover for $190 a year. It is weaker value if you also want your address off people-search sites, because no retail plan does that.
What is the difference between Allstate Identity Protection Premier and Blue?
Blue adds three-bureau credit monitoring, an in-portal TransUnion credit lock, $1 million in stolen funds and 401(k) or HSA reimbursement, home title and tax refund fraud cover, and a device security suite with VPN, antivirus and password manager. Paid yearly, Blue costs $190 against $197.89 for Premier, so Blue is the cheaper annual plan.
Is Allstate Identity Protection legit?
Yes. Allstate Identity Protection is offered and serviced by InfoArmor, Inc., a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation, and it has handled identity theft cases since 2008 according to its own site. Allstate bought InfoArmor in 2018 and later moved the product to the Allstate name. Many members get it free or discounted through an employer.
Does Allstate Identity Protection have a free trial?
Yes. Essentials, Premier and Blue each start with 30 days free. A credit card is required at enrollment and you are not charged until the trial ends, after which the plan renews automatically at the listed monthly price unless you cancel. The restoration-only plan does not include the trial offer.
How do I cancel Allstate Identity Protection?
You can cancel Allstate Identity Protection in the portal under your account settings, by calling 1-855-821-2331, or by emailing cancel@allstateidentityprotection.com. Allstate says you may end any or all products at any time. If you enrolled through an employer, the plan usually runs through the benefits period, so check with HR too.
Is Allstate Identity Protection the same as InfoArmor?
Yes, in practice. InfoArmor built the service, sold it for years as PrivacyArmor mainly through employers, and was acquired by Allstate. The product now carries the Allstate Identity Protection name and its footer says it is offered and serviced by InfoArmor, Inc., a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation.
Which is better, Allstate Identity Protection or LifeLock?
For one adult, Allstate Essentials at $99.99 a year is cheaper than LifeLock Core at $124.99, and Allstate Blue at $190 undercuts LifeLock Advanced at $199.99 with three bureaus. LifeLock includes some data broker removal about every 90 days and a 60-day refund on annual plans. Allstate retail plans include no broker removal.
